I felt it’d be much better if we dealt with the playoffs separately after we’d gone on that remarkable run of form in the second half of the season and unbelievably managed to qualify for them, after our 4th place finish in the league. I knew restructuring the Scottish league system would be a positive thing. Firstly, I’m not bored out of my mind playing the same teams at least four times a season. Secondly, despite the somewhat snail pace I play the game at, that’s me finished my second season already. Unheard of for me. I’ll tell you how it went, let’s get stuck into it.
Well that was quick! The new nature of the Scottish league system, 18-team leagues, one cup competition, means I’ve absolutely fired through my first season in charge of Stirling Albion. Would we taste sweet success come the end of the season?
I’ve introduced you to the new structure of Scottish football, briefly touched on who I’ll be taking over and even more briefly touched on why I would be. Now it’s time to dig a bit deeper into the why and what exactly I’ll be aiming for whilst in charge of Stirling Albion on FM18.
